I agree 100%...it seems she (Roseanne) thought she could say anything she wanted and receive no backlash, no nothing...because well, EVERYBODY knows she got that congratulatory phone call. Even though it seems there are an inordinate amount of people that don't see the hypocrisy she has shown through the years, apparently there are those that manage to pay attention.

THIS!!! We all - including the screeching Roseanne - can say whatever we please...and our employers are able to fire us if what an employee says in public does not reflect the "image" they want. In this same vein, anybody can say anything they want (basically) as is demonstrated here on HF. However, when listeners/observers react negatively, nobody should be surprised.
