Yeah, I had read your list. What does asking me that have to do with anything? Anyway, I agree with you about those ABC executives being opportunists to the extent that they didn't give a shit about all that stuff on your list that Roseanne had done that they were fully aware of. Boy they sure knew how to look the other way. Do you have anything to support your claim that ". . . there were people at ABC that tried to rein Barr in both on the job and at home"? I'd be interested in knowing how that actually works.
No, what you've posted is complaints and grievances against her from those in the industry who worked with her. There is nothing there concerning those things you've listed, much less anything that indicated that "handlers" were there to "rein her in" at work and at home in response to those things you've listed. Someone going to her home and trying to coax her out does not constitute reining her in. Do you know what it means to rein someone in?
I'm surprised the liberals don't try and defend her actions. Aren't the liberals the one that proclaim that what someone does at home on their own time, should have no bearing on your job?
Roseanne doesn’t want to be seen as a racist, of course she going to lie and claim she didn't know she was black
He reminds me of 6-eyed more and more. They both can't make a point on a social or political topics without trying to blame it on or shitting on the left (6-eyed) or liberals (NMRN). Quite caricatural at this point
Because they are the ones that have been running their mouths the longest. Because they are the ones that make the rules to avoid being accountable, and then complain when others they don't like uses those same rules to avoid accountability when they demand accountability when they want it.
Yes, it has to do with that. But in the context of this discussion, it has to do with your misuse of the term. ABC executives were not attempting to "rein in" Roseanne at work or at home as you've claimed.
They they they Why is it always about they Oh jan Sounds like you just needed someone to scapegoat. Hope that works out for you
Scapegoating what? I have no problem that she got fired. People should be judged based on acceptable standards. On or off the job. Just don't proclaim that people can do what they want at home, and complain about it if others find that conduct offensive. Roseanne chose to make inappropriate comments. At home. Had nothing to do with her employer. ABC was not mentioned, nor implied in any of those comments. She got fired. Good lesson there. Learn by it.
Well let's see what happens to ABC as well as the Roseanne show. I don't think you understand how reality works. Unless you are considered a non profit company, every company operates with a bottom line in mind. If I have an employee that proves to be an embarrassment based on their personal actions, I don't have to be ABC to know that firing them is best for the company. This public example as you put it, is a reflection of many of the same instances taking place by the scores in America. End your story all you like. It isn't the end if reality. It doesn't end because you don't want it to apply to you.
