sorry to say this man but you have been causing urself the headaches.
you shoulf have confronted him from the very first time he did something that bothers u.
and u will never solve any problems without an honest confrontation. simply having a kind heart is not good enough trust me

 

You need to sit down and discuss everything with him, tell him how, ah fuck it, just shit in his pillowcase.

whoa that was a long post....

the only thing you can do is make use of your balls (metaphorical or not) and stand up for yourself...
it doesn't have to be a big confrontation, it could even be a note(although that would be kinda gay....just sayin)
tell him "hey, i'm kind of feeling like we should re establish some ground rules to maintain our sanity"...also mention that just like him, you're a starving student and you can't afford to be covering any of his costs...

be firm, be kind, and stand your mutherfuckin ground...

 

walk around wearing nothing but a smile for a few days and he'll be gone in an instant
infact have a nudist gathering in your appartment every week and if your going for the raw chicken wait till he's asleep and put a bit on his tongue...perfect conditions for salmonella haha

 

He sounds like an asshole, just dont let him use any of your stuff and don't use anytihng of his.

Just have a real face to face conversation with him and don't be afraid to tell him, "hey fucker, get off your lazy ass and do the dishes!"

 

better to say something soon before he really pisses you off one day and you freak out on him.maybe you can write him a letter or something stating these things and how you feel about it.one of my friends used to room with a girl with similar issues.she found this bad roommate check list at some store and checked off everything her roommate did or didn't do and gave it to her.lol
