p.p.s. - whoever said the dead started this was wrong, they weren't even there the first year, it was phil and friends, which is even more of a joke, WIDESPREAD PANIC started bonnaroo, and they're taking it back this year! year of panic!

And at least the headliners then had SOME members of the dead!

I DO see new music and a lot of them aren't going to be there either!

you go and pay 200 to see widespread panic (good band don't get me wrong) hang out with the DMB fratboys and the Joss Stone pop princesses.

I'll be at some other festival saving my money, not dealing with shitty crowds and lines and all the other bullshit. I'll be seeing plenty of Panic at places I don't have to pay an arm and a leg for and wait 12 hours just to park my car!

But don't tell me to stop bitching this is a public forum that supports free speech.

 

just add ween and it will be good, of course no lineup could be bad with Ween. Mars Volta, Iron and Wine, Allman Brothers, Rilo kiley, secret machines will all be alright. I used to like Modest MOuse so it might be cool to see them live.

You're exactly right, Widespread Panic WAS Bonnaroo the first year, no doubt.

 

I have it on VERY good authority that Moe. WILL BE PLAYING Bonnaroo this year.

 

quit bitching about joss stone being there, every year bonnaroo has made a point of having one group from a more mainstream audience, but not a huge one, first year they had norah jones, second year was jason mraz, last year was maroon 5 (who didn't end up showing btw). so this isn't anything new. and you're going to complain about one pop princess in the whole thing? jeez, bonnaroo will still have the best line-up of any festival around and is the festival that artists would kill to play at

and the dead still suck

 

yeah I heard that they want a better spot because they've played all 3 years and they have some senority. They were on the main stage last year and want to be there this year with a better time slot. I know all this already.

I am just hoping bands like Ween, Flaming Lips, String Cheese, Sonic Youth and others just dont have their summer schedule planned out yet, and once they do will be up there.

I don't think there are BAD fans. there's jerks at any concert you go see.

i dont know why everyone is gettin all upset.There WILL be alot more bands to be added in the next few months.As far as DMB playing dave and freinds played last year so thats not a huge shock.YMSB rocks and allman is always good, im sure there will be alot more to be added like the dead and im praying for tom petty

Yes..I totally enjoyed buckethead last year..that was AMAZING. That was the first time I'd seen him, and I was so fucking blown away.
