Agreed. The food industry is already corrupt. Under the current system we have e. coli outbreaks all the time. The food industry actively recruits illegal immigrants from Mexico with the tacit approval of law enforcement. The FDA and USDA are full of former food industry execs who gained their positions through appointments by our legislators. They serve the interests not of the people, but of their former employers.

Rat I think girls, boys or anyone else has the right to criticise what they see as a deeply flawed and probably dangerous ideology or are you saying that females can’t complain as well as males just because they’re females (isn’t that rather misogynistic of you?). I think all sensible people should be wary of deeply flawed and probably dangerous ideologies I think history should show us that. I and others have presented criticisms of right wing libertarianism – but strangely the people pushing and promoting that ideology are unwilling or unable to address (let alone refute) these criticisms - many of which show this ideology to be deeply flawed and probably dangerous. Are you saying people should be tolerant of things that could cause great harm?

THANK YOU Dave – I love you – I don’t think you could have better highlighted the point I was trying to make in any stronger or clearer terms. The point being the total inability of right wing libertarians to defend their ideas from criticism. I mean see Dave – if he could, he would - what better way to humiliate me than by destroying my criticisms and grinding them into the dirt in front of me before dancing a jig on top of the heap. But he can’t – and I think he knows he can’t so he has to pretend righteous indignation and make ineffectual asides while hoping no one notices the evasion.

But what I’m trying to understand is why some people seem to follow these ideas seemingly without question and to have given them little if any thought. I remember when people came here to give support and to push the ideas of the neo-cons. I and others presented criticisms of those ideas and most of those supporters didn’t seem able to defend that ideology, but the damage was done. And the damage is being done here the influence of right wing libertarianism is seeping into right wing mainstream politics just as neoliberal and neo-cons ideas did in the past.
You just have to go to the primaries and spread info as much as you can. If you want Ron Paul to be in office, you'll have to make a BIG DEAL about it. Romney is a fool...
