While I do agree with a lot of Ron Paul's views, Ron Paul does not believe in evolution. In theory that shouldn't stop me from voting for someone since really it doesn't affect his political views, especially considering the way Ron Paul sees government as working. But I do find it to be a major personal flaw.
Ya but he at least realizes you can agree to disagree, hence his strong support of state's rights. And a lot of people don't believe in evolution, probably because it's still technically a theory.
Only in America is evolution and a movie about the life of Charles Darwin too controversial for a distributor to pick up. The good thing about state rights though is the south can truly begin to shine in all it's glory(No offense to you or your living in Texas)
I think a 3rd party may have a good chance in the 2012 election... Republicans are turning on Republicans... and well Dems aren't all that happy with what Obama is doing so far... so if he decides to run in 2012.. he may have a good chance
The guy is just an windbag of populist crap. He wouldn't have the slightest clue what to do if he ever got elected.
I find most of his views to be to simplistic. But I welcome any differing views in the government that make us question things. His son is running for US Senate in Kentucky- http://washingtonindependent.com/66534/rand-paul-frontrunner
