my friend just lost a couple of his good friends in a house fire in victoria... really a shame, they sounded like great people.

rain/freezing rain here right now, and then maybe 20cm of snow overnight and into tomorrow. i'm hoping the roads aren't too bad when i go out to deliver papers. really hoping this is our last storm of the winter.

i can not help but say ''better him than me'' when i hear about a friend dying....often times it is someone that i thought was doing well in life...come back 20 years later to find out they are divorced..broke....heavily drinking and/or fucked up on oxycontin............and i remember all those times i said ''no'' and they said ''yes''

turns out those small descisions worked in my favor in the long run

 

what happened to the old fashion divided sign? now we just have this crap... /

 

i actually find the "/" ok, because dividing and fractions go hand in hand. oddly enough, i love long division.

We will be getting some rain turning into snow during the day. Day started at 40F degrees and already down in the lower 30's.

 

Rain changing to wet snow this morning. Risk of freezing rain this morning. Snowfall amount 5 to 10 cm. Wind east 30 km/h gusting to 50. High plus 2.
