I'd take my iPod and hook it up to the car stereo. Now I got 15GB worth of music to listen to! Seriously, an iPod is the ultimate road trip companion, you'd never run out of music.
'Course, theres Lowrider by War And Same In the End, by Sublime, is a good song, if yer in a highspeed chase wit the federalis.
Well, if your going on the highway, some AC/DC would be great. Of course, it would make you lose concentration on the road, and you would end up halfway down a cliff off some mountain road.
Anything that is big and trucker-ish is always good. I agree with the War-Low Rider. Theme songs are good, like the Peter Gunn Theme song, or the theme to Bonanza. Road Trips and the wild west just seem to go hand in hand. Some Zepplin is good when you're on the highway. And a party (a road trip is a party) just isn't a party without Queen's Bohemian Rhaphsody, especially when you have a lot of people in the car.
Wow, I'm not the only person who has heard of these boys. I'd add "April's Girlfriend"! The boys from Oklahoma roll their joints all wrong/they're way too skinny and way too long" Do you know of Red Dirt Rangers? they are the band I heard this song from most.
