Road Trip Photo Op Ideas

Monday we're road tripping from Cheyenne, Wyoming to Las Vegas. We already plan to put on our skates and take pics at each state line, but we're trying to come up with some more creative photo ideas for the trip.

well that's not the most interesting scenery along that way. most of it. but there are always strange interesting things people have made. basically everything you see that you're not sure what it is, or why it looks the way it does. those are the most interesting things to look at. although if its an industry or a mine, people who own or use it, might not like anyone getting too close to it. so just a caution about being too conspicuous photographing such things. which doesn't mean don't do it. just try to avoid being seen doing so. and or, make sure you're doing so from far enough away that there's no way they can bitch about it. so i would for sure pack a powerful long range telescopic lense.

of course geological and vegitation features, especially, again those unfamiliar, are always of some interest. and of course if any little friendly non-humans let you take pictures of them, that would always be good too.

 

I don't understand today's obession of contrived photo taking. I certainly would never plan my trip around taking some pics. That's just me though. I would suggest to take some random pictures of things you are partaking in on your trip.

Scenery will definitely be captured .

I don't recall saying I was planning my trip around photos. We're going to be in a car for 11 hours, and we're trying to break up the monotony. I'll be on skates learning new things from the best skaters in the world, so I likely won't have pics from the actual event we're attending.

Possibly a few here and there from the parties.

 

Um ok. I still find it strange that you're asking this question. I think pinterest would have better ideas than most people here would on where to take pictures of yourself. Best of luck in generating lots of great ideas for this monumental event.

Make it like you are eating or doing rude things to iconic tourist attractions
