Lucifer or Loki for president? Be a good little American, choose wisely, and make your vote count! - Yeah, we're fucked... In this thread we talk about only the good memories we will remember to tell our grandkids about the a nice little country that once existed called "United States". P.S - post lots of pictures too.
Fuck yea. Indeed, but money is in fact a form of power that corrupts, especially when one sells their family out to it and Jr. is now being raised by the 16 year old babysitter down the street. The average American today is too stupid to vote. Our leaders and our political systems are a reflection of our communities. Too many highschool graduates believe Europe is a country located somewhere around Canada, and that Australia is a country near the UK. How do we accomplish anything good with this? RIP
hillary wont cause the country to crash, she will only expedite the downward spiral and some other poor schmuck 8 to 12 years from now will get all the blame despite being handed a steaming pile of shit and asked to turn it into filet mignon.
on the note of the not voting sentiment. i would still vote for the fact that local elections are usually much closer and a single vote can actually make a difference for mayor or local policies. i will somewhat agree with the presidential election though, it wont make a difference and which is why in now my 7th presidential election i will for the 7th time not pick a dem or rep.
funny how americans start wars and kill hundreds of thousands to try to push their system onto other countries but do nothing other than complain about it in their own country :drummer:
People tend to think nature must be logical and causal, but nature is more interested in creativity and what actually works. Its systems logic and not just a reflection of our communities, but of how they have learned to collectively survive and thrive in adverse situations. You might find Fritjof Capra's "The Turning Point" to be an interesting read. Its considered the new leftist handbook.
In this thread we talk about only the good memories we will remember to tell our grandkids about the a nice little country that once existed called "United States". Have you gone off topic with this a bit?
Well, actually Americans dont start wars, our government starts wars and then Americans complain about it on the internet. Anyways, memories memories. The birth of blues and jazz!
You could say I wrote that in jest. I never expected such a complex, emotionally charged topic to adhere to my simple OP. It's like saying, "let's all not think about a pink elephant".
Mark Twain, the quinessential great American writer. Old Hollywood Adventures into the west, by wagon and later by car Detroit when it was grand NYC before it became a playground for the rich Aw guys we had such a good run.
The party's over It's time to call it a day They've burst your Pretty balloon And taken the moon away It's time to wind up The masquerade Just make your mind up The piper must be paid The party's over The candles flicker and dim You danced and dreamed Through the night It seemed to be right Just being with him Now you must wake up All dreams must end Take off your makeup The party's over It's all over My friend
