Damnit! I only knew him from chat. Didn't even know his real name. Despite the anonymity of chat you could tell he was a great person. I last "spoke" to him one evening last week - Thursday I think. I'll miss him. For him the agony is over - no more dialysis. I believe and have faith - he's "up there" in that great chat room in the sky having fun and smiling down on us all. RIP Doc.

Trying to think if I knew him. The name rings a bell. How did he die?

Oh, this was Doc from the chat room? He was such a nice dude from what I could tell. But life is infinite, and our life in the physical realm is just one form of existence.

I knew DOC from chat. We had good in depth discussions. He always had good humor about him.
We joked about him needing a kidney from me. It was always an ice breaker for us in chat. We'd chat while he was getting dialysis.

    No more pain bro.
    No more worries

    Thanks for the memories

    Just rest......

This is fucking bullshit. All that waiting, all that fighting and for what? A goddamn box to fall on him.

I have sent his mother a message on Facebook expressing our condolences on behalf of the forum. I told her how loved he was and that his loss is being felt worldwide. My husband and I are going to make a donation to the cystinosis foundation.

So sad.... he was always so dedicated to that business. If he wasn't in dialysis or taking a small break.... then he was working.

He was very honest, and kind.
I'm glad he's no longer in pain. Hes resting after being dealt a tough hand.

Hes the one forum member that i have always stayed in touch with.

    RIP- love and miss ya.

    Thanks Ruby.

Some of us were and are friends other than on hip, so it makes t harder for some to know him the way others did.

He has had a tough few years, and I hope he mends, in all ways he hurt..

    Love and miss you Doc..

This is absolutely heartbreaking. Thank you to those who reached out to me about this. So many tears, and not many words. You were a great man, Doc. Thank you for being such a good friend over the years.
