I realise this is a late response but I was devastated. I have one of his books and it so wholesome, and informative. Most definitely an inspirational figure.
He sounds like David Attenborough in his own way and love of nature. Although I worked with Richard for more than 35 years, unfortunately I was never around at the same time as his brother.
