That one was my grandad's favourite song, at least he used to play it a lot when I was little Still makes me sad when I hear it RIP Kenny RIP Grandad
I think the real reason I like this song is because it had a deeper meaning to it - not just about a card game. The message applies to how to approach life.
Although it is not my type of music, it always saddens me when a great artist is no longer with us. Both Roy Clarke and John Sullivan died recently and I wonder what we have in store for great British comedy over future years.
@Irminsul This movie is about some adoptive kids becoming Kenny's pit crew.. Only a bit of racing in it, but if your bored you might watch the whole thing . If its available in your country.
"You got to know when to hold 'em Know when to fold 'em." What a giant of a man ... what a giant of a singer. Rest easy big guy!
I pushed my soul in a deep dark hole and then I followed it in I watched myself crawling out as I was a-crawling in I got up so tight I couldn't unwind I saw so much I broke my mind I just dropped in to see what condition my condition was in
Islands in the stream That is what we are, Kenny This will always be my favorite. We must now protect Dolly at all costs
He seemed like such a sweetheart. His song “Lady” was number one the day I was born. I never heard it, though, because I’ve never listened to Kenny Rogers.
