It was just a nice way of saying,

It was a critique on how you seem to try to demean people who think differently than you on topics as trivial as there taste in modern music.

 

I like that Meat Puppets 2 album, some of the others I don't like very much.

I just learned this today:

Bassist Cris was arrested in December 2003 for attacking a security guard at the main post office in downtown Phoenix, AZ with the guard's baton. The guard shot Kirkwood in the stomach at least twice during the melee, causing serious gunshot injuries requiring major surgery. Kirkwood was subsequently denied bail, the judge citing Kirkwood's previous drug arrests and parole violations. He eventually went to prison at the Arizona state prison in Florence, AZ for felony assault. He was released in July 2005.

There is much more than "trivial taste" to music. There is a notion of quality in it just like there is one in everything.

Plus, I do hope that people aren't too offended by my harsh statements, for I only make them because I am fond of arguing.

Yeah, Meat Puppets 2 is by far the best... I'm not their biggest fan either, but they own the shit out of Nirvana if anything.

Kinda sucks... going to prison after being almost killed and all. Oh well... drug crazed are liable to lead to that.

 

I did not say someones taste in music was trivial, to them I'm sure it means a great deal.

I said YOUR opinion in what OTHERS find entertaining may not be the last judge of whether or not a song has meaning.
