I remeber exactly where I was when I found out that John Lennon had been murdered. I was seven years old and I was sitting in my living room. They announced it on the radio and my mother started bawling. It's one of my most vivid childhood memories, like when the challenger exploded.


I wonder how pop music would be different today if certain artists who died young had lived longer and had the opportunity to grow more and develop further.

The Beatles is perhaps the only music that everyone from 3 generations of my family can agree on. I love the Beatles.

you do know that most books arent entirely true accounts right?? and half those people did drugs themselves, who knew him, so how can you really believe those?? half the stuff printed in books are there to help promote their book and sell them.....

john lennon spoke to all of us because he had something to say that we all needed to hear. he was an amazing musician, and had the perfect message to everyone, peace on earth

 

i do agree with cooloner, but peace is a foreign concept, look at the media, filled with violence and racism. most of it coming from the expanding hip-hop crowd

The last time I checked marxist-lennonism, it is spelled Marxist-Lenninism....Notice the "i" and not an "o" and I can't see where you can mix John Lennon in with anything to do with, Marxist-Lenninism?...Perhaps, you should check your facts before you commit them to print.
