Yes, Imagine I love your binary coding….The last time I went to college about 7 years ago, it was for computer science….I took several courses in C++ and VB.
i cry everyday on this year. thank you john for all you've gave us. you live on in our hearts forever.
Thank you John. Thank you for pioneering an era that brought so much goodness into the world. Thank you. Rest in peace.
A brotherhood of man...... I LOVE this man, I hope he is looking down and wishing us peace. RIP my brother!
I think its rather ironic for yall to say rest in peace, because every year on december 8th, everyone makes a big deal about john lennon's untimely death..... just let the guy rest in peace!! its been 25 years, and everyone makes a big deal out of it every year........
I was sad today. Sad for mankind. Sad for the loss of a brilliant artist and philosopher. Sad that men kill men. John Lennon faught against this. I say its time we let him win. All we are sayin is give PEACE a chance. xoxLennonxox
There isn't a day that goes by that I don't think of John...He is my hero, I've styled my guitar playing after him...Although, he's not with us in the flesh, that doesn't mean he isn't there in our hearts....And if you want to belittle those who's life he touched, you're very cold, but I guess you have to be, being a MOD and all.... We can't put his death to rest, that's not what it's all about.... It's his life that we celebrate....Irony has nothing to do with it, Skip, it’s about respect for an artist and a genius that was taken away from us in his prime….We have Washington’s day and Lincoln’s day why can’t we have John Lennons day?...Think about it, OK?
In the early 1970's, when I had shoulder-length hair (later my hair was even longer), gold, round, wire-rimmed glasses and a blue jeans jacket, many hippies commented that I looked like John Lennon (mostly from the front, as John had a slight bend in the bridge of his nose, that was different from me). The John Lennon picture, in the Beatles's WHITE ALBUM (LP-record), was close to what I looked like, when we were both younger. FOX 2 NEWS-WJBK-DETROIT (Michigan), just had an interview with Michigan 60's ICON JOHN SINCLAIR (TODAY: 12-07-2005/about 10:20PM-EDT). John was here in Detroit to do a poetry reading at Wayne State University. He talked about what John Lennon meant to him and was greatful for John Lennon helping him get out of prison, for him being busted for only two joints! Bad trip, man! John Lennon wrote a song entitled: "JOHN SINCLAIR", to help free John Sinclair. John Sinclair is now living in Amsterdam. John Lennon was one of the main components of the Beatles, in creativity and song writing, plus some simple artwork, that he would do. One year at the Ann Arbor Art Fair, they dispalyed actual artwork by John Lennon (in a U of M Building), plus artwork by Jerry Garcia (of THE GRATEFUL DEAD) and Grace Slick (from JEFFERSON AIRPLANE), both cool, acrylic paintings (somewhat "psychdelic")! They were pretty good, actually! He was also active, politically, which probably contributed to his demise. He clashed agianst "The Establishment" (right-wing fascists). There are a few "conspiracy theories" about who had John Lennon killed, i.e who was really behind it, or ordered it. Many "assassins" are brainwashed "patsies" (from M-K Ultra and "Project Monarch" mind-control projects). The radical right and the radical left, are always at each others throats, anyway! I haven't researched these conspiracies much, so I'm not going to comment on them. As in Alice In Wonderland, things are not what they appear to be! The idea of "PEACE" is counter to making tons and tons of money from arms sales! "Just give peace a chance." - JOHN LENNON Peace, love and understanding . . .
Where did you come from Miss Mistress?....I think I fell in love for the fifth time today, boy am I lucky or what?
He clashed agianst "The Establishment" (Right-Wing Fascists)….Or maybe it was (Left-Wing Fascists)?…It was just a tortured and tormented soul by the name of David Chapman, who heard voices from who knows who and a book called the, "The Catcher In The Rye" by J.D. Salinger, which was about another tortured sole by the name of, Holden Caulfield who couldn’t differentiate or understand the world of grown, mature people either….He lived in a delusional world of his own making, by playing with his toy soldiers and make believe….From Hero worship to the deliverer of death, he ran the whole gambit....

hippiehillbillie, you remind me of the day that john lennon was killed. i was a civilan at the army national guard headquarters in reno, nevada. i heard some people laughing and talking and when i went up to them to ask them what was funny, they said "that pinko-commie john lennon just got killed and he deserved it, we are celebrating". i couldn't believe it, i went numb, i started to cry and there was no one to talk to about it. i went into the ladies room and just sobbed. i went home that day feeling like i didn't belong in a place like the army national guard where the military people were so cruel. that was one of the saddest and most lonliest days of my life. and yes, john lennon was a heroine addict, but he kicked the habit and overcame it, have you ever heard any of his music that reflects what he went through.? he did his time and he paid dearly. he was a human just like all of us with flaws and imperfections. he wasn't a god, but he had the courage to stand up for what he believed in. tell me hippiehillbillie, are you spotless in what you've done in your lifetime? are you proud of everything you've ever done? do you not have any addictions from the abuse of life? besides being extremely negative what have you done to contribute to a more peaceful world? angel
Thanks, again Angel....I too, had to bite my tongue, when others were so callous about the life of another human being, let alone it being Johns’…. I weep in celebration each and every time he comes to surface, he gave so much, how can we ever repay him?….We not only lost a brother, we lost an inspiration, a muse so to speak….The loss is the worlds and not just the few who really care
The day I heard the news Iwas holding "Some time in New York City" in a record shop, I was stunned. No person influenced me more than anybody else when I was young, both through the Beatles, his solo albums with Yoko, and his interviews both on radio and books.Iwrote this this short poem just after he died. The world will come together It'll happen one day Remember what John said And Imagine the way To me the soul is eternal so in one sense John just moved to another place, and I bet the Amerikon Goverment were fuckin' glad. We all shine on like the Moon the Stars and the Sun. Love and Peace(Still after all these years)
Me too, and your poem portrayed much of what we, that care think, thanks….Not only to another place, but another plane….And yes we all shine on, that was his gift to us, his ability to put to words his internal struggle…. I read the news today, oh boy, about a lucky man who made the grade….Though the news was rather sad….Well, I just had to laugh….I saw the photograph….He blew his mind out in a car….He didn’t notice that the lights had changed….If we all could only make the grand….Wouldn’t it be grand? Just me, Dave a.k.a. DDR.
Howdy, Dudley Do Right! How's Nell Fenwick, Inspector Fenwick and Snidely K. Whiplash doing? I used to watch the old Dudley Do-Right cartoon series. They also made a non-cartoon version MOVIE (1999), but I haven't seen it yet. Yes, Mark David Chapman could've been a schizophrenic (a psychotic), and thus, self-motivated to kill John Lennon. Yes, he did pre-plan it, in his deranged mind. These kind of schizo-murders happen all of the time. You gave a nice, poetic version of this in your reply. I have a background in psychology/psychiatry research. But I've also done extensive research into mind-control, mostly for my own self-preservation and self-"freedom". If you don't know how mind control works, you have no defense against it! It is used extensively and worldwide! People never suspect it, because they know nothing about it and kept ignorant about it, for obvious reasons. At this point in time, I'll agree with your assessement, but as a possible option, we must consider the following "facts". War is a major business, in terms of billions and billions of dollars in revenues. Arms, military hardware, military clothing and employment. I have many relatives in the military, or who were in the military, plus one who is retired from the Pentagon (Navy). The DEFENSE budget is huge! Is it not? John Lennon preaches: "Just give peace a chance." He is very famous and has much influence over the youth. At one time John Lennon stated that the Beatles were more popular than Jesus Christ. He was only talking about a popularity poll (with numbers) and probably didn't imply that they were spiritually superior, or even "saviours". Bad wording! The Beatles had a powerful media presence and a powerful hold on the youth. John Lennon and the hippie slogan of "Love and Peace", scared the war mongers. If we had peace, they would lose all of those DEFENSE dollars and jobs! You can believe all of those cute fairy tales about what war is, but it's really only for "population control". If Earth became totally over-populated, all of the food would be eaten, so we would be TOTALLY EXTINCT! That's why we have "controlled deer hunts". Too many deer and they'd all starve and go extinct. Wars have never settled any differences. They do help to displace anger and "blow off steam", though. "hippiewise" mentioned that Army National Guardsmen (in Reno, Nevada-a beautiful area, I may add), said: "that pinko-commie John Lennon got killed and deserved it, we are celebrating." It sort of proves my above point. Hippies were sometimes called "commie, pinko, hippy, fags". Archie Bunker (of: ALL IN THE FAMILY)? HAWKS vs. DOVES (WARHAWKS vs. WOODSTOCK DOVES). In ECONOMICS, it's GUNS vs. BUTTER. John Lennon was "anti-war" and "for peace". Peace could be achieved by developing a sane approach to "population control" and providing all of the military jobs, with civilian jobs, where no one loses any job, or money. But what is the chance of this scenario happening? A snowball's chance in hell? It would be a nice scenario, though! MK-Ultra and "Project Monarch" brainwash victims are sometimes created in the womb! Sad, but true! The so-called "Multiple Personality Disorder" is not natural, it's a by-product of "trauma-based" mind-control techniques! So, it is not ruled out that Mark David Chapman was under mind control direction. Since John Lennon was a powerful societal influence, that didn't fit the "ruling elite's" agendas, it's a very suspiscious situation, that raises red flags. Consider the following article by Joe Vialls (who just died recently): Danger Mind Controllers At Work! Part One: www.vialls.com/subliminalsuggestion/mind_controllers.html. There are thousands of websites on brainwashing, but that's for another thread, not here. Or is it just simply a schizo-murder? I don't have enough data to research this dilemma, so I'll go with Dudley Do Right, for now. In a non-controversial light, here is what is believed to be the last studio-portrait of JOHN LENNON and YOKO ONO: Lennon-A Final Record, By Jack Mitchell, 12-9-5 (on Rense.com} www.rense.com/general69/jandyok.htm. How cute! "All I am saying, is just give PEACE a chance." - JOHN LENNON Peace, love and understanding . . .
