I honestly don't understand how anyone could arrive at the opinion that any of that actually accomplished or changed anything. And the people who respond positively to it seem a lot more excited about the violence than anything else.

Revolution doesn't work... honestly, all that it does is hit the reset button on a process that basically ends up with the exact same result-- another power-drunk asshole pacifying and exploiting the general population for his own benefit, as well as 'their own good'.

Real change is a slow, boring process... rioting is adolescent.

I'll admit that riots do call attention to bad situations, but they don't inspire any kind of sympathy from politicians or the general public.

IN FACT, unlike these kids who think burning stuff is some kind of political statement, most people in the world would rather feel SAFE. So what do the politicians do? They use the riots as an excuse to pump even more of the taxpayer's money into an already enormous military budget.
