Ok, I'll start it since no one else did.... Opening ceremony was lame, crapping on about climate change for what was it half an hour. Australians probably more into the Olympics as we punch way above our weight. 6am in the morning for swimming finals, which is perfect, I'll be late into work all week
And Prediction: we will kick England's arse in the medal tally, one of the first big effects of Brexit
The swimming is always exciting to watch. I'm standing outside a bar and watching swimming through the window while stealing their wifi as we speak! Track and field is also great. Basketball would be fun if it was more competitive. Great contribution to the thread there.
Sad. You completely looked over woman's gymnastics and BEACH volleyball. That's where the good asses are at. I don't mind this target shooting but boy aren't air rifles a little sissy these days? Even the .22 is pushing sissy. Should be target shooting at max distance with .308 or something.
in theory, yes. i just watched the beach volleyball for an hour or so though, US vs australia, and for some reason even though there were two amazingly beautiful australian girls and one amazingly beautiful american in the background, they only really showed us the old american lady with the herpes sores all over her mouth.
There are certain events that stand out and I’ll be looking for Usain Bolt once again in the 100 and 200 M dash Hotwater
If he’s beaten it’s due to a nagging hamstring injury which have plagued him this year, not because of his age Hotwater
