Oh right, I read that one, thanks for posting it though.
There are different types, apparently, passive and active.
Ones with a power supply (activ) can be read over a few metres even further sometimes.
    The ones with out, can't.
    You probably read that, right?
Did you appreciate the ones in passports were passive?
Passports are passive, so can't be read for more than what I posted in my previous post - Yet  .

If you are talking about the ones that can be read over a longer distance.
Then I think we should have that discusion when it is being proposed for say passports or us.
Not worry ourselves about something that is not on the horizon.
    Not even on the table.

    I don't think so.
I think it is just technological advancement.
I appreciate your concerns, so won't dilute them by saying you are paranoid.

If they do decide to implant a "chip"...
Then don't you think it would be easier for terrorists (or whoever) to "read" the information?
It would be on you 24/7 and there would be more opportunities for people to take the info.
It would still work the same as the ones in a passport.
I'd give the government credit enough to think that they would think that a stupid idea, just for that reason alone.
Not even taking the civil liberties issues into consideration.
Clearly, you do not have to trust the endless debate that has been had on this by governments around the world, all pointing to implanted "chips" are bad politicaly as well as an undue infringement on our liberties.
You may think they don't give a toss though ;)

Odon I think you have been spending way too much time in the political forums.

You should smoke a joint and go out to the park or go to the beach for the afternoon.

Well, I already smoke joints but I live quite far from the beach.
I do live close to where I can sit and contemplate life.
I thought there might be some substantial reason why.

Yes, but I'm not concerned about this.
    They are.
    Maybe they need to.

You just seem way to involved and too serious.

that's usually a good signal for a smoke brake.

Do you want me to be not bothered by this?
Do you want me to not think about this any more?
    What do you want?

Yes don’t worry about it is a little chip and another flaky conspiracy theory.

Just say Bullshit your paranoid and smoke a joint.

It’s really not worth that much thought and energy, unless you get fun out of it.

But if it is fun carry on. :)
