Revisionism.

    Harry Blackmun wasn't the biggest liberal whoever lived. If you were alive in 1970 when he was appointed to the Supreme Court by Pres. Nixon, you'd remember him as solidly Republican and solidly conservative. Just like Warren Burger. That's called revisionism. Just like saying that our country was founded on the Bible and Christianity in 1776. No it wasn't. It was meant to be forever separate from religion and monarchies. And our founding fathers, like George Washington, Thomas Jefferson and Benjamin Franklin, were all Deists. An atheist professor told me in 2000, today they'd all just be atheists. As to the larger question, if they believed in God, or even if there is one, who knows. But they thought you should decide, and find him, on your own. In other words, don't give your minister $1,000 so he can buy a Cadillac. Spend that money on yourself. You need it more.
