Yes, that's my point too. Half of the time its only an issue if one would be really on the lookout for it. You may have shared a bathroom with a transgender several times already. Of course it gets more understandable if a MTF would look like that lady in the upper right corner in StellarCoons pic
^lol yeah.(edit, my arrow is pointing at piafeloise's post but my response works for asmo's too) I dont think I would notice. I dont really go out of my way to look at people when i'm washing my hands either, I don't notice anyone in the restroom. Except little kids that peep under stalls, hate when they do that
I suppose everybody knows what's best for someone else of the opposite sexuality to yourselves and their own personal feelings. You're right, it's wrong of her to have those feelings.
Doesn't show with the comments tbh, you're all basically trying to say, well it doesn't affect you guys because of a divider, you don't know who's next door, you don't have to see anybody so basically because you're fine with it and so other people should be too, they should Forfeit their concerns because they aren't legit enough. Concerns of somebody who is completely different to you.
Real life, its more likely to come down to how our legal system works. Right or wrong, if some woman really had a problem with it, made up a story the the MTF trans exposed him/herself to her and she rang the police. Legally the trans would have much of a leg to stand on. And your last paragraph, we all like to pretend we dont judge others by appearance, but yes its going to matter if she, the MTF trans is small and petite vs someone that looks like Hulk Hogan (or Bill Cosby ) just put a wig and a dress on and walking into the toilets at a Mc Donalds on a Sat morning when there was a kids party going on
Walls of text on an anonymous messageboard, you really have no idea if one person is more racist than another, especially just based on the stuff they type out. Even if they verbalize musings about one particular race, still doesnt mean they arent more accommodating to all other races more so than the guy ranting about diversity
Today we finally talked about pronouns in my class. The whole they, their, them thing is easy; the only differences are basically when you would say he is or she is you say "they are" not "they is". Enough about pronouns. Here is a tool to help people understand the Gender Spectrum. You should be able to use this if you can read... Most people have a Gender Identity, Gender Expression, Biological Sex, and a Sexual Orientation. That's our genderbread person there to help us visualize it... As I pointed out earlier, this maybe isn't always the same or hasn't always been the same. It may depend too on your race-ethnicity, social status, class, and so forth.
If transgenders comprise 0.03% of the population or whatever people are saying, how is this chart, with evenly distributed color spectrums even useful? Also Is Occam's Razor not applicable in Gender Studies? Like, in theory can these classifications continue to complicate indefinitely?
