Resin cigarette

Having no bud but have a pipe with some resin in it. I rinsed it out with 91% rubbing alcohol. The alcohol I poured out is really dark shit brown colored. Not being a cigarette smoker anymore I found a cigarette walking up the stairs. I always find nearly full cigarettes that have only been smoked a little bit down there so I picked one up off the floor. I know this is pretty nasty but I soaked it in the alcohol and when it dries out I'm gonna smoke it.

I'm sure this is gonna be really harsh and nasty since cigarettes themselves aren't that good to me any more. This does work tho, I've done it before but it doesn't usually taste that good. Acetone works good too.

I put a little alcohol on the filter so I'm sure it's "clean"

It takes a little while to get it to dry...using a hair dryer helps. It also helps to blow air thru the cigarette while you use the hair dryer. I wish I could blow hot air thru it as this would help dry it in the inside quicker. I guess I could get some tubing big enough to fit around the cigarette and get some other plumbing shit to adapt it to the hair dryer if I wanted to get serious.

 

put the broiler on and roll it on teh oven shelf for a few munites..

 

that shit was nasty, it got me a little high but there must have still been a little alcohol in the middle cuz it tasted of alcohol. I need to reduce the rest of the alcohol that way I can soak on more in the cigarette

I can't believe I'm replying to this lol; but here goes:

I used to let resin build up in my pipe and then scrap it out with a specific little flat head screwdriver and a wee knife...and carefully, wiping the little knife and tool with the resin on it onto rolling papers. Sometimes I'd have up to 3 papers with different swipes of black tar resin on it.

I thought everybody knew this.

After a day or 2 the resin dries and I would then roll a joint with those papers...make sure and wipe the resin on the inside, where the weed would go, if you're gonna roll a joint. I imagine you could also wait for it to dry and make resin "balls" and smoke them in your then clean pipe.

It takes a minute to clean, but I always found it well worth the trouble.

don't use alcohol or acetone. especially acetone.

Just take the wet resin and wipe it on the beginning of a cigarette. as you smoke the cigarette, hold it upright, so the resin runs down the cigarette as the cherry heats it up while you puff it. If you're running out of cigarette, but still have some resin left, just hold the cigarette upside down for a couple seconds while you're hitting it so the resin runs down into the cherry, therefore smoking it all at once.

be careful not to drip hot liquid weed resin on anything. It will leave and make a stupid yucky mess.

if it's dry resin, just smoke it in a bowl.

 

ya going to have to agree with a few other people and stop smoking, or get some more bud bro. i know you KNOW how to use psychoactive chemicals properly, dont be going to these crazy lengths, I wouldnt at least.

You should have just scraped the bowl, got the resin in a ball, put in bowl, and smoked.

i haven't had the pipe that long and there isn't that much resin that can be scraped, most of it can't be gotten to.

The high from this seems to be a lower quality high, not as good as the weed that the resin came from

if there's not enough resin to scrape, and you need alcohol to dissolve it...it's hardly enough to get high with. you don't even have rolling papers? you coulda made a "joint" out of dried resin rather than smoking a cig off the ground. or you coulda put it on tinfoil...even that woulda been better

Usually when I need to clean a piece I scrape out what I can then soak it in hot water or alcohol if I have any, then just flush all the crap that I got out down the shitter.
