If someone took their rep comments to heart and changed their behavior because of what other people said, then maybe. But there's nothing wrong with being curious.
my rep light is on but when i go to 'user cp' and then options, it just says that i have 10. is there comments that i'm supposed to be able to read?
You're too new, that's all. Once people get to know you, they will send comments on a good or bad post. Everybody starts out with 10 points.
yeah, just don't tick off the big man. he'll take all your points away and no number of positive comments will ever give them back. but the points aren't really the issue, i just love all the comments. it's good to see what you're doing right.
