Click on the scales at the upper right hand corner of each post. You can rate each user's reputation that way. I am not clear on what the point of this is, but it should be interesting...
those are the dots someone was asking about in a different thread. the more little green dots you have, the better your reputation. for example, i have a "disabled" reputation. i'm strangely flattered.
Actually the green dot by your name means that you are online. If it is that greyish color it means you are not online.
