Since he's been exposed as a chronic liar, Ben Carson's poll numbers have gone up slightly, and his campaign contributions have gone way up. Apparently with his core supporters, it's all good, as long as he's against the media.

Meanwhile, some GOP leaders are trying to persuade Mitt Romney to get into the race because they're so disillusioned by the current options.

 

Trump said today that Muslims in the US should have to register and carry special ID cards.

Carson's foreign policy advisers say they are frustrated with trying to tutor him, because he just doesn't get foreign policy.

Bobby Jindal is out of the Presidential race.

Next GOP debate is December 15.

 

I hate to say it but out of the whole clown car, Jeb Bush and Marco Rubio are the only two QUALIFIED at all to be prez (And they are both monumental asswipes)

Trump is nothing but a civilian blowhard who has no common sense and less than a schoolkids knowledge of the US government. I have a small 3 X 5 inch booklet only 38 pages that has the entire U.S. Constitution,. You'd think ppl running for office would at least have the sense to read it before making outlandish UNCONSTITUTIONAL proposals that can never happen unless the Repugnicants finally succeed in making this nation a Theocratic Dictatorship.

 

I think Kasich is the best of the lot.

Kasich is also qualified, being on the intellegence committee in congress. But he's way too rational for con voters.

Rand Paul is qualified too...and it's scary that he sounds almost as rational as Kasich....compared to the other clowns.

 

The cons are also calling for the closure of all Mosques....look a little like what the Nazis did to the Jews?
So now not only the Mexicans being deported, but also all the Muslims. Next year it may be manditory to go to a "christian" church to prove you're an American. I wonder if Catholics and Mormons will qualify. Crusades 7.0

That may be true. Fact is, I am unfamiliar with his name as a contender.
He has been completely overshadowed by the Dominant Clowns in the car.
Of course I have not watched any of the debates and until recently he hasn't shown up in the evening news recaps after the debates.
He actually looks sane so hasn't a chance of getting the nomination.

Yesterday, Trump said he's going to bring back torture and waterboading when he becomes president. He said it on THIS WEEK with George Stephenopolis.

But today there not one word about it on the media. WTF!? Does that mean it's okay again?

A black guy disrupted one of Trumps speeches, yelling "dump the Trump!" and the crowd beat him up. Well Duh!

The insanity of the extremist far right wing still needs to be exposed. The cons say it's the "lame stream media", yet the media says nothing about that insanity, as if torture is ecceptable now. I guess the media doesn't want to hurt the cons feelings any more after the NBC debate.

I really think that the cons would rather see the U.S. get defeated by ISIS, than to see Obama win. That's just how anti-American they are.

 

Not saying i find the republicans or their stances very sympathetic but saying they are anti-American because they think opposite than 'liberals' is in essence nonsense (and it is in fact really adding to the polarisation). It seems apparent there are different kinds of americans and the republicans represent one kind. They're not less american because they have an opposite mindset than you. Neither does it make them anti-American.
