Replying to messages, wanted or not

I’m a 36 year old guy with a fairly high sex drive. Now I’m not afraid to say that I like to chat to both men and women, not just about sex either, day to day stuff. Just wanting to speak to a few new people to make the day go quicker. The anticipation of logging on to HF and seeing a red square showing you have a new message is great. Disappointing when you haven’t got one.

I have messaged a few people on her men and women, what I’m wondering is how many people reply to messages they haven’t asked for?

Yes, I get messages I did not reply too! Those are the ones that many times get deleted and blocked. There are a lot sick perverse people out there and I’m not going to fuel their fire. You have to use your good sense and personal judgement.

 

I reply to most messages I get sent unless they are really not my taste but that hasn’t happened yet.

i think it’s about speaking to people you don’t know and they won’t judge you initially unless you say something they don’t like or disagree with. Otherwise I just see it as making friends who you wouldn’t usually speak to

 

If it isn't obviously a scammer, a bot, or both, I'll probably respond. However, if we haven't had any contact before I receive an unsolicited message, it's almost certain to be a waste of my time.

For example, a guy sent me a message here asking about my life. I told him that I already had information about me posted on the "info" tab of my profile and he should look before asking. He's since asked twice about information, such as my occupation, that I already have posted and have pointed him to. I no longer acknowledge messages from him. He's an intentional waster of people's time. I have no tolerance for that.

 

If a man messages me wanting to stroke together, I'll automatically place him on ignore. Otherwise, all is welcome.

 

Any messages I get I respond to pending the subject matter. If they get to personal I politely decline to offer any further comments. Otherwise I enjoy the conversation.

 

Anyone who makes the effort to send me a message gets a reply. If i'm not interested in continuing the conversation, I just let them know.

 

I reply to all messages.
I politely explain if I am not interested.
I am British.

 

I love the last bit. Us British are too polite to just say ‘do one’

 

I find it hard to be rude to folk.

I had a very disturbing PM when I first joined. I had no idea how to report it.
He got banned in the end.
Trying to recruit for Islamic stuff!!!
It really upset me.

All banned and gone now.
It was not a good start here for me, and quite upsetting.
I know what to do now.
