hahaha. Yeah, I have alot of respect for mechanics to be honest. I can do framing, drywal, plumbing, electricity, fencing, decking, roofing, flooring, but when I try to work on my car or bike, it never seems to go according to planned :(

went to the casino for the first time last night.

I actually enjoyed it, although I think I woulda enjoyed it a lot more with my husband...I went with a group of girls, and we all know girls tend to put a damper on things haha

I used to be a mechanic, I only take a car in these days because it's so hard to work on them myself. (physical issues, arthritis, degenerative disc, etc.) Seems every time I've taken one in I have to redo the work myself because they fuck it up... There's very few good mechanics out there.

    I'm Shiv's alter-ego.

I can strip and rebuild any machine,be it bike, car, truck, dozer, excavator etc etc....but if I even LOOK at a fuckin' paintbrush my house starts to giggle!
Absolutely SHIT at that stuff. I took two years to put new plumbing/radiators in all round, and six months just to build my kitchen!
Kinell,I could totally strip and rebuild a DOZEN bikes in six months!

I managed quite well for the first two years after I bought this place by having the engine from a cement mixer as a pump for the radiator system I put in. [A Lister single-piston job]
Then I decided I really must build a proper kitchen,as I could hand a cup of coffee to anyone sitting in the bath [I had a gf at the time. Ah,the Goodole Daze]....and the misery began. Fuckin cupboards, worktops,a combi boiler, new windows, new floors, paint, new doors, blah blah - how the Hell does anyone get a stiffy from doing DIY? I still have my old Lister engine-it's my 'just in case' backup..

    Dysfunctional drama and everything!

Yup. "Don't insult our prophet, or we will kill some of our neighbors and destroy our shit!" When little kids do that, we call it a tantrum.

    Coolest cake ever!

Rebuilding carbs is not exactly an apprentice-level project. I did it once in my old Ford Pinto. I ended up throwing out a part or two, and I think it improved the performance. Probably just some kind of emissions crap anyway.

I too. Problems galore in my case, but that's what colorful language is for! It got the job done, too! Except in the case of bathroom wallpapering - my wife had to finish that, cuz she couldn't stand me yelling at it anymore. :)

They can make self-cleaning ovens - why not self-cleaning houses?

Nice vacation pics. Reminds me of Monterey Dunes, where I spent a little time with my parents years ago.

But where are the shots of you wearing a bikini?
