It was 73F when I got to the office this morning. It felt kinda Autumny. It's now 87F.

 

i dont like my seat either but i been riding on it for a year now because i am one hell of a procrastinator. a lot of people use this one, but i think it sucks. its super stiff.. there are others that have a good deal of flex.

i had one that i liked except the rails were very small leaving little forward / back adjustability..

I am off to the mountains right NOW for a 3 day mountain bike excursion. later :bye:

If I can't find one I like, I'm going to put the old one back on even though its broke...Alot more comfortable...

 

Tomorrow I'm going to a 50-year birthday party in Cambridge for a friend and former co-worker. She was a very large person when she worked with me. She dropped over 100 pounds, started writing an xtreme weight loss blog, and now runs 5K races on a regular basis.

 

My sister ran 13 miles today she is nuts. She is training for this marathon

 

How many will be taking pics of the moon tonight?

 

I don't think I've ever run 13 miles. I used to sometimes run maybe ten miles or so for track and cross country workouts...but that was way back in high school. Now when I run I end up with stiff, swollen knees.

I already know what the moon looks like, so I guess I don't need to take any pictures.

Actually it might be interesting to set the camera on a tripod and see if I can get a good telephoto shot...

I'm going to look at the moon to see if it really looks blue...If its not to cloudy...99f here right now...way too hot...

 

I can tell you that it doesn't look blue, cuz I'm psychic.

 

it wont be blue

blue moon is the term used to describe the second full moon in one month...the moon cycle is slightly less than a month so once in a while you get two in one month...kind of like how some months you get an extra paycheck

I have the inlaws coming today.

 

26 miles, Jen. So your sis ran a half-marathon for practice. I can't even imagine what it's like running a full marathon. I've seen the folks who come here for the Boston marathon - they tend to be extremely slender and wiry. The women have little feminine figure to speak of. That's what habitual long-distance running does to a person.
