Well, alright, since it's only ONE of the biggest (which, in itself, is an improper use of the English language, as there can only be one biggest of anything) piles of crap you've ever read, I can forget about the whole thing lol. No, it only applies to posting, at all, in the politics forum, as the hipforums tends to be frequented with a lot of threats on presidents, psycho revolution babble, and just plain weirdos.
Im typically in this general Religion forum, normally in Hindu and Christianity. Other than that, the Psychedelics or the Marijuana forum, but both of them go in waves. I quit the politics forum sometime around last year
I spend most of my time in fashion & crafts since I run my own business as a seamstress/crafter. But every once in a while I'll pop into marijuana or religion. How about you? .Or just this forum since you are new.
It also saddens me how people have twisted Jesus' words into something that suits their own evil purposes. Like did anyone ever stop to think that maybe Jesus would be really upset if he saw how no one ever bothered to keep it real anymore? Does no soul among us remember that Jesus used to live in his parents' basement, and that he was the absolute finest bong-maker in upper east Jerusalem? Does no one recall that just after the last supper, when everyone had a nice full belly, he actually turned the holy grail into a handsome water bong so he and his disciples could sneak out to the woods and get high one last time? LOL i like that perspective. i took repent to mean that one consciously acknowledges his/her evil and vows to remove their attachment to that action. but your interpretation has made me see it in a new light. i will go smoke a bowl now. in memory of Him.
Sorry, I don't mean to but in, but allow me to throw the hat in the ring. At its simplest form, Feeling sorry and promising God, to do better in the sacrament of confession is literally like RELAYER SAID IN THE FIRST place alter-ing your consious being into a diffrent perspective. Sorry. I don't care how you go about doing it, Repenting does mean just simply switching gears in your head. You do not need to turn into rocket science. If you know you are being an Idiot, and you pray to God, and he gives you the grace of seeing your sins then so be it go to confess them and be done with them. He is a God of love and does forgive as long as you are AWARE, and just change your consciousness towards it. Make no mistake about it SELF-CONTEMPT and SELF-HATE, and feeling sorry for oneself and dragging a legacy of guilt around with you all the time is also a SIN. It is the work of the devil keeping you from truly being happy and @ one with God. The only advice I have to offer to you Relayer, is that I have concluded that there is a Major necessity in the actual sacrament, Walking is right Jesus said he gave authority to the elect, therefor... Jesus taught on reincarnation? What's your source for that? Meditation as a central teaching of his? What's your source for that? He is quoted in the New Testament as saying, "I do what I see my Father doing." He got that through times of prayer. Constantine? The books of the Bible were decided by church councils. Do you believe in spirits? Then why not the Holy Spirit leading this process?
