i used to rock the backwards crooked, in 9th grade, it was my friend

 

coming from a girl, i think baseball hats the the side are really sexy. i didn't know they were so hated.

 

Try wearing a fedora backwards.

 

I remember always trying to wear a hat backwards as a little kid, because my brother did it and I thought it was so cool. But my mom would always make me turn it around..."How can it keep the sun out that way??" She didn't understand. And I think I recall my dad saying it looked like a "gangsta."

I remember when that look was in. I used to like it. Some people can pull it off, but others just look kinda funky. I quit seeing that look around middle school because hats weren't allowed, and in high school you'd get in trouble for wearing a hat sideways, mainly because most of the students that wore hats were on teams, and it was disrespectful to the team.

I think it's kinda lame... Backwards is OK, forwards is OK, sideways... I don't like it. Not baseball caps anyways.

 

Remember when the holes in your jeans were cool? It started to go kind of overboard...you could buy them with so many holes that there was hardly even a point to wearing them.


And the overalls over just one shoulder.... What was that thing a few years ago where the guys would roll up one leg of their pants like all the way up to their knee, but leave the other side normal???

 

Jeez... why buy jeans with holes in them. Just use buckshot.

 

I remember both trends but, then and to this day, thought they were utterly stupid.

In fact I've never really followed trends, because years down the line you realise just what a prick you looked.
