I liked them when Syd Barrett was around. After that not so much.

 

When I was sixteen I would have been so pissed off that people hated Pink Floyd now I don't care unless you make a very personal comment on me about it then again its all the matter of taste. I hate Kayne West and their is know why that is going to change. I love all types of music.

 

Pink Floyd is good but also overrated.

 

I disagree I could name a few more overrated bands. As much as I love the band The Rolling Stones are overrated and Kiss is way overrated but that is just me.

I had other things during High School that made it stink. I always felt I had to be skinny I was 130 pounds and 140 and my biggest in High School and I thought I was huge. I read beauty magazines. I had a low self esteem.

 

Uhm just because those bands are also overrated doesn't mean Pink Floyd isn't.

I think most bands are overrated. There just isn't a real excuse for that kind of adulation of people, in my mind. They're just people, in the end. Probably why they have trouble living up to all the hype and start releasing shitty albums in their later years. And any artist who denies that he/she is "just a person" is a villain, in my book.

 

I was in high school too.
But my experience wasn't as bad as yours.
It was okay. But I wouldn't go back.

I was in middle school and high school during that time. It was very eventful. I used to obsessively watch MTV music videos during that time, and the video for this horrific song was always on TV.
