    1st post. Hello everyone.

Do you remember the Goonies? What was your favourite scene / character?

Mine was Chunk, and his truffle-shuffle.

I loved Goonies as a kid, and still do. It wont seem to be such a big deal if you watch it for the first time as an adult.... but if you first saw this movie as a child.... damn, its just the best. :) It inspired soo many imaginative moments for me... I mean, who isnt fascinated with finding treasure as a kid?? I daydreamed about going on adventures with them.... lol ...

    I loved it :)

Hang out in NW Oregon and you can see the goodie house, freshly painted, and the Cannon Beach locations.

I wonder if the house looks as nice inside as it did in 1985??

this is one of those i remember hearing about not too long after the fact, but wasn't in the same place at the same time.
if that's that movie with the poster with a ship on somebody's head, i think i may have seen it sometime long after it was current.

85? i was in PorSFiS. i remember quest for fire and buckaroo bonsai and the wars and trek movies.
i remember doing a lot of reading and SF meaning fiction about science.

i remember there were a lot of sex and exploding intestine movies, whatever it was they were supposed to appeal to.
and the influence of laloo's screaming metal.

now that i remember the context, yah goonies, so far out of my context that it was just something other people were talking about.

i think there were a couple of infamous mell brooks things around that time, and the rashnishis.
now if they had made a movie called heavy nimh, or something based on irma felna ...

I LOVE the Goonies. I get so nostalgic watching it. I still think it’s hysterical when Chunk makes his long confession lol

It's apparently a classic. I've seen it one time I think. I don't remember, and I doubt I watched the entire thing. It had heartwarming aspects to it. You sort of fell in love with the disfigured "Chunk", which I think is commendable.

  17. I would imagine you were creeped out by the scene with the dead body in the refrigerator. That's the creepiest part, IMO. Though I guess there are lots of skeletons and stuff, too.

My favorite scene is when Troy screams "Andy, you goonie!" down the well. Because my name is Andy. And I am a goonie.

Yes it is.....Took me forever to find it on VHS recorded from analogue cable TV! (They fucked it up on the official Warner bros tape ('Digitally processed' and it looks like thin garbage -- I WANTED THE ORIGINAL ANALOG MOVIE LIKE I SAW IN THE 80s))

Hehe yes I laugh everytime I see that part!!
