The trend usually is one of more sensationalism. There was the robot war craze back in the late 90s. The first year was ok. People would build robots and fight each other. After a while, it became as much sensationalism as possible, with fire, smoke bombs, goofy lights. Practically unwatchable.

When I was in 6th grade, all my friends and I were really into wrestling.
it was '99 I'm pretty sure, so it's past the years you were talking about..

but i remember i was in loove with stone cold and i bought a black t-shirt with stone cold on it.
i had the shirt on, and i wanted to wear it the next day to school.. there was a tornado warning in our area, and we had to gather up our shit and take it to the basement. i remember carrying my white cat with me and holding her the whole time. after the tornado warning was over, i stopped holding my cat and there was white hair all over my black stone cold shirt. i was so pissed off cause i couldn't wear it the next day to school haha

and i remember when owen hart died..
all the wrestlers were talking about him in like a tribute or something and i remember crying.. and i went to school the next day and all my friends were talking about it and they said that they cried too! haha

Monday, May 6, 2002...a day which will live in infamy: The first TV taping under the present WWE banner: "WWE Raw" at the Hartford Civic Center. Sucks knowing that Vince McMahon lost to a fucking panda (WWF-World Wildlife Fund). :(

Yeah, its not as good nowadays since WCW ended. There is too many belts aswell, I mean why have 2 main championship belts? Also, the WWE name not being WWF does bother me I admit, its like a different thing. That said, I really cannot wait for wrestlemania(never miss one), its got a great buildup and hopefully will be great.

WCW was great. Always liked it a little more than the WWF, even had a goldberg hat. Anyone else have the action wrestling figures w/ the ring that made noises?

i loved kamala and his african music. he is the most underrated wrestler. It was so funny when he was fighting against papa shango. at first he was scared to death at shangos black magic shit-but at the end shango was just running away from kamala. it funny they never braught brets other brothers e.g. keith hart and stuff. andre the giant was cool-but tha real man is giant gonzales. That guy was a fvking tree.

the female wrestlers were funny two. luna sherry, luna vashon, alondra blaze was hot. the japanese female wrestlers could even do giant sweings and all those stunts on each other because they were a lot lighter than the mail wrestlers. Bastion booger(spelling) was funny too. he always used to snatch food away from the fans and eat it during his fight.

what i loved was the music of the wrestlers e.g. mr perfects(r.i.p.) the list just goes on.

I thought WCW was better then the WWF.. My favorites were the wolfpack (Kevin Nash, Konan, X-Pac, Sting, etc..) But, whenever WWF bought them out it wasn't the same..I wish WCW would come back to me it seemed less plotted & planned...

I loved wrestling so much when i was younger, i collected all the action figures, had the toy wrestling rings and the whole 9 yards. My favorite all-time wrestler was Bret the Hitman Hart. I cried when he lost the iron man match to pussy bitch shawn michaels.

Bret Hart is definitely one of my all time favorites too. I miss the days of Razor Ramon, Diesel, British Bulldog, Owen Hart, and the list goes on and on. Wrestling is just not the same anymore.

If you want to view good wrestling, check out vintage matches,
with wrestling stars such as Killer Kowalski, Buddy Rogers,
    Magnificent Maurice, Handsome Johnny Barron,etc.

HELL YEAH !!! I grew up on WWF and LOVED the Ultimate Warrior :) They really need to ditch these shitty new storylines and just go back to the crazy stuff where people get bitten by snakes and die, or someone gets buried in a grave and than resurrected, OR the funniest when Undertakers green smoke came out of Paul Bearer's urn and started attacking people!!!
