I used to love Lisa Frank stationary and stickers, school supplies, etc while growing up.. Looking back on it, the art is pretty cool and here's a neat video I came across of the creator and Lisa Frank headquarters: https://www.youtube.com/watch?v=TuXVH8IKZlc"]The World of Lisa Frank - YouTube
i love the pretty furry stuff. must have been long AFTER my time though. i was actually of the generation of the real hippies, so all this stuff came along a LONG time after mine.
well i remember the bright colors and all being popular. they always are in the good times. but the name, yah, that came and went long after i would have cared about things being associated with people's names.
I remember it! I thought some of it was really cool and I'm sure I probably had tons of Lisa Frank stuff when I was a kid. LOL, I just went and did a google search and it's so weird, I totally remember some of the art that I'm seeing on the images.
that's cuz there's no boys allowed.. Lisa Frank is for girls =p joking, of course.. If I ever have a son, I think he's be so "gay" (not using that as a derogatory term)..which is fine by me..he'd totally use lisa frank stuff My two daughters are tough and I could see my son being opposite of them... I could keep on rambling but I think this has actually inspired me to start a new thread..
I was so proud of the lisa frank trapper keeper I had in elementary school. I'm pretty sure its still at my mom's. I never had the heart to throw it out so I think its sitting in the same drawer its been in since I was in 5th grade. I think I should get it and start rocking it again.
I still used the Lisa frank paper folders in highschool and college. Now, I use them for stuff like tax papers. x_x
