I'm a teen boy, and I always have red cheeks. No matter what I am doing, running, talking, sleeping, I am always rosy-cheeked. I blush and flush bright red, and it's so embarrassing!

Ever since middle school, I've been self-conscious about them, because I'm always "blushing." And people always asked why I'm hot, embarrassed, etc.

I know this isn't the biggest deal but, does anyone have something similar, and if so, do they know any solution?

Hi Red, welcome to the Hipforums. I'm not sure what your problem is, but you might first do a web search for your symptoms.

You might have other issues. It could be genetics. Does anyone else in your family have the same condition?

If you're not having any other physical issues, it doesn't sound bad. I have heard of others like you, so there's probably a support forum somewhere once you get a diagnosis. And yes, if it bothers you, you should see a doctor.

    Hey Toker!
My brother has reddish cheeks, but his aren't as noticeable. I've been to a doctor before, and they've ruled out this thing called "rosacea," but they aren't sure why I have them. Thanks!

Do you have pale skin? That can cause blood to shine through and make you red-faced.

Check with a doctor and if he tells you you're healthy then my best advice is just accept it. WTF, let your friends call you Rosie! To paraphrase an old saying, "I felt bad because my face was red until I met someone whose face was ashen".

Although there can be many reasons, Flushing can be caused a lot of times by widening of blood vessels. I sometimes get a reddening around my neck, from the Vaso-Dilators I take to keep my blood vessels open.
If you take prescription medications, that might be a good place to start your search. But definitely talk to a Doctor about the condition.

Yeah, I'm quite fair-skinned. I'm guessing it's genetic because a lot of people in my family have red cheeks. It's been a little difficult for me to be confident with them because I just look like I'm embarrassed and blushing! In middle school, I was nicknamed 'Pikachu' because of it lol.
