Cats are the worst. You cannot fool them into taking anything.

Minxy had a 5 week follow up appointment yesterday...damn, I love this new vet alot.

She was astounded.......Minxy's gums already went from bright inflamed red to pink......and Minxy does not make painful noises anymore and is not running away from her food anymore, and she is much calmer...still a PITA but calmer....lol.......Vet was astounded and will be documenting this case for her talks and things. She is number one holistic vet in the country and I feel very lucky to have found her and that she is here in NY.
i am just sad....i did not bring some of my other cats that were sick to her, before it was too late and they died....so for this reason, I have been very sad....:(

No more vaccinations for any animal here...ever again....

Minxy will be on the holistic remedies for another two months when she goes back for another follow up apt in Nov.....I think had I had this vet all along, Minxy would stil have all of her teeth...:(

Holistic is the only way to go for pets and people, too.

When I started to read this thread from the beginning, I was worried i would get to the end and there wouldn't be good news about Minxy. I am so happy to see that is not the case, and she is doing well. She is so lucky to have your unconditional love, moonglow.

Minxy had her 3rd appointment today with the holistic vet. Minxy has been with this vet for 8 months now, and doesn't need to go back for another appointment until 6 months from now. Minxy has recovered that much. her stomatitis has cleared up and her gums are normal looking. the vet said today ....one out of ten cases with this makes a full recovery and so far, it looks like Minxy is one of them. i am so grateful to this vet for what she has done. Minxy is still a tiny peanut and vomits alot after meals, but I learned some new tips today of new things to introduce into her diet to help with this.....
It looks like my 4 pugs and golden retriever will be going to her too, when they are up for rabies vaccines......only $50.00 consult fee at first each instead of $400.00 for one animal.....and she will only give miniscule amount of rabies vaccine...enough.....She thinks that too many vaccines kills our pets, so they do not get anything else anymore.....

Heard this song on the way home on the radio and sometimes people restore your faith in humanity as this vet does....and how I love Minxy so...very touching....and moving....
