record player?¿

anybody else have a record player? if so what was the last record you listened to on it & how many albums do you have & of who?

 

Sure do.
The last record was...Jefferson Airplane's Crown of Creation.
All of them? Can't do that, too many.

 

Yes, I have a turntable. The last record I listened to was... John Mayall's USA Union.

I cannot list all of the albums I have, but I probably have between 250-300 of them.

 

i got taht album lucifer. its not his greatest tho, all the songs are about littering! lol. yeah i have a turntable, wouldn't live without it. in there right now is wheels of fire by cream. most often played on mine are probably blind faith, traffic, later beatles, donovan and dylan. i have a ton of records taht i have no interest in counting lol. lots belong to my dad, but he doesn't have a turntable anymore so he's got no use for them but for decoration.

 

Yeah, it's not his greatest, but I only paid $1 for it.

I just got two ages old turntables off my grandma, but only one works

 

I have a old record player from the 60's that my parents used, unfortunatly doenst work anymore. Its nice, big, and makes good decoration

 

I used to have an oldddddd oldddddd one that belonged to my great-grandfather.

 

Ooh, I'm un-hip. I play CDs.

And tapes! Tapes are so awful, it's good.

i have dad's old player - and all his old records. He was a huge stones/beatles etc fan though - so I'm not complaining. I love the old records and the last one I listened to was Making Movies by Dire Straights. I think Romeo and Juliet off that album is beautiful.

that's far out, thanks for replying. yea, my dad had a record player for well probably from the late 70's & i also have a record player,but he has alot of albums so i just listen to his stuff & i buy new stuff at like flea markets & where ever else. i found a real good place in an indoor flea market, all the guy does is sell records, it's great.

 

Hmm last record I played was Slow Train Comin, the dylan album, I have my dads collections and mine and combine we have >700 records. I find lots at yards sales and such, I got this great woody guthrie record for 25 cents and a begginngs of soul record with lightning hopkins and muddy waters.
