She just got her license.. But today as she lifted the hood, the wind blew it and hit her in the head. she was fine though they're not that heavy..
Charlie Michael my aircraft for today.. Usually I fly a low wing aircraft.. but taken.. we have more of these millennium falcons.. they're pieces of junk but they'll get you there..
They are like flying around in Volkswagen Bugs. But as you said, they fly. I've spent a lot of time in these between the Caribbean islands.
This is a 172. We have a 152, it was much older... Buddy Holly age. Charlie Michael is 1976 I believe...
Monument Square in Portland, ME. I-90/Massachusetts Turnpike West in Boston. Both are from June 13, 2015.
4 years ago today...June 14, 2016. Ramapo, Rockland County, NY. Went to my first Can-Am League baseball game. The park is just off the Palisades Interstate Parkway. The weather was identical to today, too!
SOUTHBOUND today! Yay! (Berlin, CT Amtrak/CT Rail station) They built the Meriden and Wallingford, CT stations identical to Berlin's. Downtown Meriden, CT. The route sign is CT Route 71. Still in Meriden...I could never figure out that traffic looking thingy. Even as a kid. Amazon plunked down this huge warehouse thing in North Haven, CT fairly recently.
Processing the piccies... The Quinnipiac River as I came into New Haven. Looking west towards Hamden. CT. Not quite the East Rock Park area, but it'll do. Spray Paint Kitty! Came out a lot better than May's attempt did! The New Haven police station, as we were approaching Union Station. DING! Union Station of New Haven.
I make a cameo in picture #12. The next picture will verify I did just that! Cover your eyes! Leaving Union Station. This is probably the busiest train station in New England. Maybe even more than Boston's South Station. Crossing the West River into West Haven, CT. Now onto the Housatonic River, heading into Stratford and Fairfield County.
Soon after leaving the Stratford, CT train station. We don't get too many of the horizontal traffic lights in this state. The permanently closed Congress Street Bridge over the Pepquonnock River in Bridgeport, CT. Webster Bank Arena, home to the Soundtigers of the AHL (hockey). The former baseball stadium for the Atlantic League Bridgeport Bluefish. It's now being converted into a music amphitheater. Yup. Bridgeport.
The Saugatuck River Bridge in Norwalk, CT. The other bridge is I-95. Boats for snobby Greenwich people. The Mianus River Bridge (way in back), partially collapsed on its northbound span in 1983, making national news. A toll plaza stood here until a couple of years ago. It was for I-95 North traffic in New Rochelle, NY. I stared at this damn ad for nearly two hours. Twin A tried to make him give the 4 Horsemen salute. Not quite, Keith! I had arrived at Grand Central Station.
