I would say the car park belongs to the white house on the right which could be a public house or restaurant.
Haha. Have you never paid attention to what I say about where I live? There is no supermarket or town centre. You can pretty much see the whole village, except where the curve is. The road going up behind me has side roads with houses on. The carpark is for the whole village.
It really is. The first time I ever cycled down that hill I fell in love with the place. The shop I work in is over on the other side of the bay, about where that lamppost is marking.
Yeah, just thinking out loud what it could be for We don't have town car parks like that! Thanks for explaining
You just cycled through one day and said "I'm in love", and found a job and a flat there. Remarkable.
It's especially pretty this time of year up there, because all the other months of the year, the grass is dry and dead.
Not much happening here yet... Daffodils are started but not in full bloom yet. Forsythia is in bloom, and the Magnolia tree. Ground plants are just now waking up.
I think gorse is what we call scotch broom in WA state. Really took over the landscape as imports often do. Flowering season is sheer misery for allergy sufferers. Saw some in Ireland where is was much less aggressive.
Man I'm reeeeally glad you said this because the other day I happened to say "broom is another name for the gorse, right?" and luv said I was wrong.. But I have a feeling you're right, and that I was right. I'm going to check it up and hopefully confirm.
Since the parks are now closed to the public I've taken to the cemeteries for my weekend walks. I actually kind of like it; it's more peaceful and I prefer the company. I will say this...you can tell which families have the money and which ones don't. This is the earliest birthday I found. An officer in the CSA. This one is interesting. I Googled USS Capelin and read the Wikipedia article. It was a submarine assigned to the Pacific during WWII. It was last heard from December 2, 1943. From what I could determine it is still listed as missing. Anyway, this guy was on board. And the saddest one I found.
