Pretty day out so I snapped some photos.

This is the Wooldridge Monument in Maplewood Cemetery, Mayfield KY. It was featured on Ripley's Believe It Or Not once... I believe.

 

A railroad track runs beside Maplewood Cemetery, so I couldn't resist a couple of shots.

@Pete's Draggin' : Better than the Connecticut "FAP" license plate which drove past me recently. Yes..."FAP".
@tumbling.dice : That guide sign reminded me of a similar marker on US Route 5 in Brattleboro, VT. Massachusetts does that "Commonwealth" thing, too.

I used fish on the Brule River between WI and the U P of Michigan. To get to my favorite fishing hole required a walk down about a mile of CNW tracks that carried Iron ore from Iron River Michigan to Escanaba. One day I climbed up to the tracks as the caboose of a very slow loaded ore train passed at the pace of a very slow walk. The caboose crew told me to hop on for a ride up the grade and told me how to get off when the train began to slowly pick up speed. Neat. Now the mines are long gone as are the tracks and ties.

 

Right up the top is where my class is.

Nashville, Tennessee during much quieter times. Took this one from the Poplar Street Bridge, over the Cumberland River on August 15, 2010. Much of their north side and areas east near the airport (BNA) were slammed by tornadoes early Tuesday morning. Quite badly, too.
