It's ok, he's British. He doesn't want a cute little babycakes he can carry to bed. He wants to be dom'd and then carried to bed, lol.

    (Sorry Odon couldn't resist)

Thanks. It wasn't the most eloquent ways of expressing the fact I didn't really wish to treat you as some sex object/peace of meat like some people around here...
...it was meant to be a little more subtle. :D
Also, you remind me of a few people I know on the Internet, and IRL - they have been complete __________ .
I'm sorry I took it out on you.
You look lovely, but still...yeah...probably not compatible.

Well, we all can't find Oprah Winfrey attractive, can we?

    Ftr, English first, British second.

'cute little babycakes he can carry to bed'

See what I mean, Faelixx? :p

Probably not a good idea to go into my sexual proclivities *blush*

Ok noted. Any particular reason why? Pure curiosity here.

Fair enough, lol. I probably come off pretty brash but I'm a nice guy.

Because I was born in England, so it's nice to identify oneself as English first. Calling me 'British' could put me in any of these places:

Lets call it 'upfront' - you say it, they think it. I know you are a nice guy :)

A picture I took on my flower walk this morning... The flower smells like rotting meat and attracts flies.

One of my favorite bands! The link odon sent you is for the synthesist (who provides the vocoded vocals, keyboards, effects and generally composed the music) of Space Art's newer music, which I've not heard much of, but is certainly very weak by comparison. Space Art seem to have absorbed the best of everything that was happening at the time, from 'spacey' prog like Pink Floyd, Barclay label French disco (Droids, Milkways), and elements of funk, synth-pop, jazz, even classically trained measures in counterpoint. Really an original band that I often hear people asking "Can anyone recommend any other bands like this?" to which the answer is generally "no", not at least anything as comprehensive. But, I know of tons of others from the same time period who were just as brilliant and remain largely obscure, if your interested just shoot me a PM and I'll type up a list. I used to make threads, sometimes several in one day, but apparently no one reads them, or whoever did rarely left comments, lol

It was a tribute album by Dominique Perrier - who, as you know, was half of the original duo 'space art'. It is him and others - not the original duo. So any failing might be the fact it isn't the two but the one.

I didn't know it was a tribute album, nor that it features guest musicians, but that's what I meant by saying it is the synthesist and primary composer (Dominique Perrier), the main-brain behind the original due (which, and especially on the third album Play Back, is not exactly the case, as there is a guest guitarist, a saxophone performance, and a bassist featured in almost every track who is also responsible for programming the sequencers). What do you think of this tribute album? Is it any good? It's not one I've heard, but the original drummer was key to that band in my opinion, especially on tracks like 'Welcome to Love'.

I don't care for it or that type of music. I do think that the original isn't going to be the same as the new, as obviously the make-up isn't the same. You can't capture the same thing twice. I just looked up this and found something that might be new to some...I was just trying to be helpful.

You are a weird guy, Odon. You should really become a private investigator or something.
