i like this one. are you using a camera effect to make the people look like that (like little figurines)? what effect is that?

 

it is beautiful....I don't take it for granted.....

took these last week so qualifies for a summer thread......I have about an acre of my yard that I let grow wild with a large number of wild flowers still in full bloom

no shit, literally the Alcosan waste water treatment plant, the famed Western Penitentiary to the left. It was the first prison west of the Atlantic Plain as well as a major Civil War prison in 1863–1864..
I live across the river near the white roof factories..

 

Hee, yeah they kinda do! I used my phone camera and have a few effects apps on there (such as VSCO.cam and instagram) to have a bit more fun with it.

katkin...i'm thinking of some certain camera effect that makes people appear like that. it's like "fisheye" but that's not it....

ah ha! i found it. it's called Tilt-Shift photography or "miniature faking"
you can read about both on wikipedia if you're interested
