That place looks sweet. The fountain needs some water though, and the plants by the sign should either be in the ground or not there at all rather than sitting in those black plastic pots imo.

All in all, it looks gorgeous though.

It is being renovated - work in progress.

They just took down the fence and it is not yet open but soon. I was just happy to see it being restored to its '50s look. Was so afraid it was going to be demolished when they put the fence around it. We have lost so much of our beautiful Deco and MiMo architecture to developers, even on Miami Beach where it should have been better protected.

Should we call you Bart or Homer? I think I would have to go with Bart, you just don't have a Homer likeness at all even if you are kinda,,, yellow.

    Ok Bart it is

We have a few places near the beach that look similar Shale, one is called Something,,, villa, it acts as a hotel and to house people in cooler months on a more permanent basis, always wanted to live in there but I had my own place, looks very cool but I don't know the age of it. Next time I am I front of it I will snap some picks.
There was one in a near by town that offered rooms for sale and you had to let them out to tourists for two months, was almost tempted to buy one but the best months would go to others even tho our summers are quite long here compared to other places in Canada. I like June and July best, the hottest and best beach weather.

awesome, that's only like an hour and a half away from here. i'm gonna have to remember to check it out sometime.

a few summers ago i went to a music fest in naples, and we found a pretty neat waterfall that we climbed down to and stood underneath when we were tripping :)

i think that place was called Grime's Glenn or something, but i'm not sure.

If you ever want to go on a nice day trip, visit Skaneateles lake, a lesser know finger lake. It's sort of on the way back from the waterfall I posted. The water is pristine (unlike anything I've ever seen) and the town of Skaneateles is beautiful. The whole area is great to visit. Pretty close to Rochester, too :).

I like ducks and always seem to take pictures of them. Here are some ducks in extremely deep water on the lake. You can still see rocks on the bottom of the lake, depth aside:
