Well, honestly I like my beaches with a lot of rocks... like this, which was my absolute favorite beach as a kid where the wind howls and it is always freezing. But yeah, that is the weather that I like.

I realize that it looks blue and warm in that picture... but trust me, warm it is not. Try surfing in it sometime... you need 5 mm and the hood and booties and the whole thing.

Although, given a choice, I'd rather be wrapped up warm than wearing shorts and a T-Shirt etc...and I don't perceive myself as overly bleak...
