Felt badly about the FU's, so I apologize...that isn't me really....probably just trying to show that I am not one to be pushed around, but went about it in the wrong way, so I am sorry about that.

Yeah, well being in the country here with a bunch of animals and woods, it is practicality to dress in sweats and hoodies here most of the time in the colder weather anyway...and the concert....the people there were all country folk anyway, who do not dress like NYC sophisticates....either.....and I can do that, as well....I dress appropriately for times and places, is all.....

and you are right, it was dark in there, and who saw what anyone was wearing anyway...everyone was looking at the lit up stage.....

Mama, I was talkig to Rainy , who decided she needed to give me one further lecture after I apologized graciously.

 

I think if I dressed like a NYC sophisticate I would have a hard time finding a man around here. Our city is small and we tend to dress like we are quite relaxed, a few kids do the trendy "pants hang low" thing and some of the rich dress to show off, that's about it. Shorts, Ts and bare feet are all a go here and it's not odd at all to see hoodies and jeans in winter all over town. I rarely see people going nuts to impress or show off their money,,, or credit debt levels.
This city is made of a lot of older families generations back, and tourists and what do tourists wear mostly? Slides or clogs and traveling gear. We also have a lot of trail walkers, golfers and skiers hanging around. it's all about tourism here and if it's not a familiar friendly face to me then it's someone from some other land who isn't gonna care about me anyway once they have gone home.
So really, what do we care what others think unless we are unsure of our selves?

 

We don't. I do like to dress up in pretty things, too, once in awhile, though.

 

Yup me too, it has it time and place but some of us can feel beautiful any time. Just like your pics.
