More than half of them (yes, speculation but also a bit of an educated guess). Also, a lot of people who are not really attractive (for the masses/according to the stereotype at least) conform to the stereotypical characteristics to at least be perceived as making an effort, or so it seems to me.
Not by default. It depends on the person what I think of it. Sometimes I prefer to not think anything of it but I can't help myself. Ah well, that's associations for you... And conforming to a certain extend to your surroundings is only the pragmatic thing to do naturally I definitely do not regard it as 'selling out' or something equally rigorous because people might conform more than me
Not many things makes me more happy than a person looking like their true self and being totally comfortable and happy with it. Some people might accuse me of being PC about this matter but I'm not, I truly mean it when I say that's what I find hot.
I don't do anything, Not that I would disagree with those who do but I can't, don't like make up on me, don't like people cutting or playing with my hair to make it look different because it's been this way since my last hair cut when I was about 18 after the woman screwed it up soooo bad. It was the shortest it had ever been in my life because of the mess I had to cut out of it. She was supposed to put ringlets in it and leave it long, it was above my shoulders and looked like a hay stack. And my friend dyed it once, that burnt my scalp and it didn't look good on me anyway so I waited for it to grow out. I have cut my own hair since that mess when I was 18. Mostly just trim it for bad ends. Make up feels like someone put paste on my face and I want to scratch it off, even lipstick. I have done a bit of eyeliner and cheek color for occasions and a little bit of other stuff but most of that make up stuff causes me zits if I use it too much. I don't do trend stuff either. It's jeans and tshirts or sweat shirts for me and comfortable shoes partly because I am comfortable in them and I hate shopping for clothes. Yup, I get called a hippy chic quite often because I don't mind jeans with funky stuff on them or even paint splashes or even so old they are falling apart, once my ass shows through them I keep them for yard pants, haha, I don't care who sees what in my yard. Sucks to be me maybe but my body says don't put stuff on your face or head, there will be trouble. And yet I don't react or have allergies to anything else.
^Reminds me of when I used to build spaceships out of chairs and blankets with my baby-sitter when I was small...Kids - so easily amused.
