hurray for massachusetts.... did I spell that right? there's a civil union bill coming up in front of parliament in early june. if there are any campaigns, please go. its the next step to gay marriage in new zealand.
yes in mass. and you did spell it right. Some, like the governor, wantt o make a constitutional amendment to ban gay marriage... i dont know if it will pass in mass...but as it stands now, anyone in the US can go to there and get married. Oh, another good thing about NZ is that its the only other nation other than the US to win the america's cup more than once...and they say the british ruled the sea
yeah i see them every night......................................as i am driving past. (you dirty dirty people) Doug
Gotta love Dunners! The student mecca of NZ... -The Uni here also has a great French dept. No-one has mentioned my birthplace yet The Coromandel Penisula (all areas that aren't infested with Aucklanders).
Damn straight. I don't know much about the French department, but the Philosophy one is great. Ah, and who can forget classy upmarket establishments like KC's - the reason why dunners doesn't need a Marion Street....
COROMMANDEL FM. It's the BEST radio station in the fucking world. i fell in love with it jan 04. fucking amazing.
That Night club in Duneedin, might be called the Box, can't remember but it was a good few years ago when I was there. also, Stuart Island, Foxes Glacier, the poor knights, Marlborough Sounds, Anakiwa, the entire south island, Rotorua and all the people are just too friendly! Makes a change for a pomme I can tell you, one day I'll be emigrating to your beautiful shores...
can't say I've heard of the box...mind you I am (sadly) quite mainsteam when it comes to nightclubs/pubs...Gardies is only about 1 minutes walk from our front door, so we go there a lot. re:Fuel or Arc are about as alty as I get...how embarrasing
yeah, totally agreed. much rather share a nice hot bath than go and gliggle my balls all around some night clubs and end up deaf Alltaken
ah, a night in can be fun, but i do enjoy a drunken boogie now and then especially when the drinks are cheap(or, as on friday night, free ) and the music is live.
naw it was our Critic (the student magazine) volunteers party - an end of the semester, thanks for the help, now have a beer type thing. Good fun, really.
Critic is another reason why NZ is great (although it ain't a patch on last year). Damn them! I want me book voucher! A few more things that I love about NZ: Puriri trees The lack of bees in Dunedin Fresh water in plentiful supply
Speaking as someone who is deadly phobic of serpents - yes, thank billy! Aotearoa lacks snakes! *shiver*
