We will go back to reasonableness, the human brain is a very complex organ within the human body. Undoubtedly the most complex thing on the earth. Think about your thoughts, your sense of judgement, Feelings, memories. The ability to speak and see in vivid color, tastes, feel, pleasure.. Is it reasonable to think that this brain and body came from nothing and was not created?
I think thinking can be reasonable and it is not necessarily reasonable to be concerned about your question at all.
Your brain and body came from the scientific process of your mother and father's coupling. It is reasonable to have conversations and discussions about thoughts, questions, concepts, ideas, interests, etc., but unreasonable to presume that all people have the ability to see, speak, feel, etc. Some people can't. Christ was crucified and rose from the dead (anti-scientific miracle!) so how does your question / thread about the human brain relate to Christianity? Think about my thoughts. Check. Think about my sense of judgment. Check. Think about my feelings and memories. Yup, uh huh. I was not created (but my human body was). I am not my body. I am not my brain. My brain does not produce me. When I leave my body, I will still exist. I always have existed and I always will. We are spirits, in these vehicles, these flesh bodies. Here on Earth, only temporarily. Spiritual masters understand it and there are many out there whose books can be read. Before considering this upanishadic passage, here is what the Bhagavad Gita, the great digest of the upanishads, has to say about this: “Bodies are said to die, but That which possesses the body is eternal. It cannot be limited, or destroyed.…Some say this Atman is slain, and others call It the slayer: they know nothing. How can It slay or who shall slay It? Know this Atman unborn, undying, never ceasing, never beginning, deathless, birthless, unchanging for ever. How can It die the death of the body? Knowing It birthless, knowing It deathless, knowing It endless, for ever unchanging, dream not you do the deed of the killer…” (Bhagavad Gita 2:18-21).
The human brain is remarkable...Even more complex and unpredictable than any computer ever was...everything you ever experienced is still stored in your brain and is recalled through certain triggers...Your spirit will live on but it does not mean that all the aspects of your brain here on Earth will go with it...
Reasonable: adjective1.agreeable to reason or sound judgment; logical: a reasonable choice for chairman. Reason: noun1.a basis or cause, as for some belief, action, fact, event, etc.: the reason for declaring war. 2.a statement presented in justification or explanation of a belief or action. 3.the mental powers concerned with forming conclusions, judgments, or inferences. 4.sound judgment; good sense. 5.normal or sound powers of mind; sanity. 6.Logic. a premise of an argument. It is not reasonable to make assumptions on anything without corroborating, verifiable proof. In regards to the brain and body, the verdict is still out as to how it actually all came about.
Yes, they have memory retention, i.e. animals; however, only humans question whether if they are not fooled for how that develops into a future reasonableness, the past had for analogous truths. Is all of this Godless without creation. We now can work upon analogous scripture. Is that in turn Created without the true god?
That's right, animals do talk in cartoons..they also build large buildings with climate control. Very smart animals
I'm not talking cartoons... They have their own languages in reality. Study the crows and rethink your views on animals.
Animals are with the intelligence of the metaphysical for the temporal passing. Humans fight the passing of time, and have words create It back into demanding that there be the true scripture for re-creation.
a brain poofing from nothing? now thats rediculous! (and i've never heard anyone claim this) its way more reasonable to look at the fossils of our ancestors and conclude that over long periods of time, organisms and their brains developed from simple to more complex forms. now, since i know the future (im pretty active in the psychic forum), your next question was going to be, "well how did the simple organisms get there", well i dont know, but if you want to discuss that you should definately start a new thread.
N Nietzsche wrote: Man is the tightrope walker between the highest state of animal evolution (which is reasonable) and the total mastering of life on earth from ground zero OR nothing to the fulfilled all of the in itself, God (which is unreasonable). It is reasonable to know this Appears to the Reason for Being for oneself as created by a creator. A lack of integrity exists for that mere tightrope walker to use reason with any resolved System (of evolution).
Wow, good, and someone else is arguing that the reasonable perception of things is that the Sun came before the earth in the formation of the Whole. Thus the Ego of some individual existed outside the Earth in order to perceive the sun outside of the other revolving planets. Nevertheless, all this appears to the ego without reason. It only reasonably (I don't know) permits Man to become the Superman through a reasonable way of resurrecting dead God.
reasonableness is the opposite of fanatacism. (which conflates belief with knowledge) there is nothing "reasonable" about pretending there have to be first causes, and pretending we have to know them. and there is certainly nothing reasonable, about marginalizing anyone, for refusing to tell themselves the same lies one tells one's self.
Well there is nothing reasonable about pretending but it is very reasonable to have a reason to go somewhere and see where you a going. First causes are your causes.
