Really Cool hippie kid in my spanish class!

There is this kid in my spanish class and I idolize him. I think he is soo cool. His name is Andy and his parents are old hippies! He is sooooooooooo cool!

 

Why do you idolize him??

 

He is just soo cool. I don't know why I idolize him really.

 

We idolize those who have qualities we wish we had. Its human nature really, tho I think there is a difference between admiration and idolizing.

Admire or appreciate others, yes. That brings about a world of harmony and respect.

Idolize, no. That often results in false gods or in other words, the person ultimately turns out to be less than perfect, but now you've put them up on a pedistal. They "will" fall.

Become the change within that you see in the others you idolize.

Take on the qualities you are desirous of, and make them yours. Leave behind the parts you are not attracted to. After all, most people are mixed.
