Okay, so I'm a huge fan of the Command & Conquer series (Before EA took over Westwood Studios at least!). I've been looking for some good strategy and empire building sims, but it seems like that genre is dead. All the good games were published in the 90's and 2000's. Games like C&C, The Settlers Series, Tropico 1, Roller Coaster Tycoon, etc, etc. I have come across a few good ones that are more recent, like Sun Age and Beach Life, but it seems like the strategy genre has been taken over by turn-based rpg/strategy games. Which, a few are good, but no one really plays. Any suggestions out there? I'm open to anything PC, Android, Playstation 3. I'm open to other platform suggestions too, but those are my main digs lol.
If you're looking for a Real-Time Strategy game that plays like the old Command & Conquer games, then you need to check out a game called "Grey Goo".
Wow, that looks amazing!! Looks as if it captures the oldschool feel of games like C&C and Starcraft. Looks more Starcraft-y, still good stuff none-the-less! My computer wouldn't be able to handle it at all, but I'd love just to watch someone play a game like that.
